Taking advantage of Persephone’s exhaustion, Apollo forced himself on to Persephone and raped her, despite her struggles and begging Apollo to stop. Later that night, after Persephone and Artemis went to bed, Apollo left Hermes sleeping on the couch while he snuck into Persephone’s room.
